GOD IS GOOD

Last year the Lord spoke to Caron and I about increasing our territory.

We had no idea how literal this was to be.

On the 11 August Lauren, our oldest daughter gave birth to Hannah,

Both Joel and Chloe our proud to be aunt and uncle. They think they are too young with this title.

My feelings are, that Caron and I are too young to be grandparents – but GOD knows what He is doing and He has blessed us with a wonderful Grandchild.

Lauren and her Riaan are doing well and enjoying be parents. What a wonderful privilege to have our family together.

          The picture below is at two weeks old.

Growth is amazing. It is true transformation. Hannah is growing by the minute.  It is like she eats and sleeps and then grows. Maybe we have forgotten about parenting – or simply put it behind us to deal with the now.

I am sure that God has a message here for us.

“ Rest in God - Feed on God - Grow in God”

I want to thank God for His goodness and Mercy that He has shown to our family.

We are truly Blessed of Him.

Besides this year being full with family growth, ministry has been great.

God has given me much favor and sent me to Korea 4 times and China 3 times this year.  I stand amazed at God.   

          His goodness is limitless and His mercy has no ends.

This month I return to Korea for 8^th international trip this year.  No wonder it feels like the year has flown by so fast.

I also have invitations to minister in Mongolia and N.K.    North Korea will be a very sensitive trip and needs prayer cover.  Our brothers and sisters in this country are under great stress and face terrible persecution for their faith and simple freedom of life that we take so for granted.

It seems as though there is simply not enough time to go to the different places of invitation. I remember a prophetic word that I received when still at bible college ‘I need to be cautious of over extending myself’

OK  - I know what you thinking –

The message that I’ve been preaching is one of priorities in life. So I have recommitted to my priorities list and trust to see the full reward.

 Let me share with you my thoughts on priorities.

1. Your relationship God.
2. Your relationship with spouse.
3. Your relationship with your children.
4. The ability to generate wealth with the works of your hands.
5. Your ministry.
6. Not forget the gathering together of the saints (going to church)
7. Your social work in your community.

After October I have no further international trips this year.

Next year I have invitations to minister Pakistan, Kirgizstan, back to China and Korea.

GOD IS GOOD

We are looking so forward to December – It will be our 25 wedding anniversary.

We are so blessed to have God in our lives, a lovely family and each other.

A great highlight earlier this year was when we went to the mountains for a few days.  It so good to take time out. 

While at a bird sanctuary in the mountains, we were told how eagles can see wind thermals and saw how soar to great heights with very little effort.  God spoke through Caron and said to me ‘ we need to see the (spiritual) thermals that will lift us out of our valleys and slumps.’  WOW !!! It was so exciting to see how God would use a bird of prey to expound His Word to us. “if you wait on Him, then you will rise on wings of eagles…’

We are called to soar on great heights and rise above the stresses and challenges of life. 

We pray that the Lord will open your eyes to your spiritual thermals and lift you to new heights.

While at church recently, the Lord spoke to me clearly about the shaking that is coming to the world. This shaking is coming to everything in the world, including the silver and to the gold, in other words the entire world economic system will be shaken. We are going to see men and women be shaken as well. But, for those who belong to the Lord and seek Him above all other things, they will stand firm and as they seek Him and worship Him, he will cause rain to fall on them they will receive blessing. 

While writing this email - I believe that God will open the windows of heaven to you and fill you with joy and peace.  I am not sure of your what your immediate challenges are  - but – I do know that If we seek Him first and His righteousness, then all these thing will come to us.   I encourage you, worship the King of Israel. Zech 14:17  “If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain.”

What I have been doing from time to time is to CONSECRATE all that is under my care to the Lord.  What I mean by this is, I would anoint the gates of my property Holy to God and pray the blessing of God over our home. Often I would walk around our property declaring the Word of the Lord. Regularly, anoint my children Holy and separated to God. I would dedicate my vehicle and whatever I own to the Lord.  When doing this I would worship the Lord and bless Him for His goodness lasts forever.  What a privilege and honor to give to God all that He has entrusted into our care. 

My friends – I believe that we are take our priorities seriously and commit all that is in our care to God. We are consecrate our families Holy to God. I have often made the statement that if my marriage failed then I would be disqualified to minister the Word of God. That is a pre-requisite that I place on my own life. I married my wife and never married my work, the church or my ministry. God is so good to have blessed us with a wonderful marriage and a good, healthy children.  

Sadly so many people have neglected the primary things and placed greater value on things of lesser importance.  We believe that we, the Bride of Christ are to show the world that our marriage is a prophetic sign of the relationship of Christ to the church. 

GOD’s Word is TRUE.    God will give to you the desires of heart and bless the works of your hands and cause all your ways to prosper as long as you walk righteously before God and seek His will in all things.   We pray that God will bless your home life and fill your family with Joy.
