Taking TERRITORY

 

The most important thing to every living thing in life is the pecking order we are subjected to.

Authority and position is every thing in regard to our relationship with God and our influence to others.

  1. The fall of Lucifer was due to his position not being good enough for himself. Luke 10:18 Jesus told them: I saw Satan fall from heaven like a flash of lightning:

  1. Satan took authority and territory from Adam & Eve:

 

  1. We are called to repossess and dispossess:
    1. Deu 9:1  You must gain territory pass over your Jordan today, go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fortified up to heaven,
    2. Deu 31:3  Your God, will go over before you; he will destroy these nations from before you, and thou will dispossess them.

 

  1. INCREASING TERRITORY - Jos 1:3  Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, to you have I given it, as I spake unto Moses. From the wilderness, and this Lebanon, even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your border.  There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee; I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
    1. INCREASING TERRITORY – BODY – Body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
    2. INCREASING TERRITORY – SOUL – Renew the mind in Christ – Sober in all things -
    3. INCREASING TERRITORY – SPIRIT – Build yourself up in your most Holy Faith.

 

  1. Jesus Christ took back the keys of life and death - Rev 1:18 and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.
    1. There is no death in Christ.
    2. We are called to rule with all the authority of Christ.
    3. We are called to set people free so that they can be positioned with Christ and live.

    1. We are to go into all the world
    2. We are to impact every segment of society – turn the world upside for Jesus.

 

  1. In this last century, Korea has sent out more missionaries than any other nation.
    1. God will honour that.
    2. To whom much is given – much will be required.
    3. This honour might be given to other nations, if we do not be follow the precepts of God.

 

  1. Your political outcome will determine your influence in North Korea and Missions and outreach thrust.
    1. Impact your nation through God fearing leaders.
    2. Be relevant with your present influence.
    3. Give to the poor and you lend to God.
    4. Show kindness to the people of God.

 

  1.  Heathen Kings of Persia occupied Babylon  - their territory grew as they showed favour to God’s people
    1. King Cyrus financed the rebuilding of  wall for Nehimiah
    2. King Ahasuerus replaced Vashti by marrying Esther (Est_2:16) and saved the nation of Israel

 

  1. Rehoboam had lost much territory as he was harsh on the people of God.

 The successor of Solomon on the throne, reigned seventeen years (975-958 B.C.). Although he was acknowledged at once as the rightful heir to the throne, yet there was a strongly-felt desire to modify the character of the government. The burden of taxation to which they had been subjected during Solomon's reign was very oppressive, and therefore the people assembled at Shechem and demanded from the king an alleviation of their burdens. He went to meet them at Shechem, and heard their demands for relief (1Ki_12:4). After three days, having consulted with a younger generation of courtiers that had grown up around him, instead of following the advice of elders, he answered the people haughtily (1Ki_12:6-15). “The king hearkened not unto the people; for the cause was from the Lord” (Compare 1Ki_11:31). This brought matters speedily to a crisis. The terrible cry was heard (Compare 2Sa_20:1): “What portion have we in David? Neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: To your tents, O Israel: Now see to thine own house, David” (1Ki_12:16). And now at once the kingdom was rent in twain.

 

 

CONCLUSION:

If Korea wants to remain a major force in the missions field globally they need to care on how they tend there own flocks.

This will have a direct impact on the national elections and this in turn will close the doors for Korea or open the doors very wide for Korea.
