STEPS TO TAKE WHEN YOU RECEIVE A PROPHECY

1. RECORD for the benefit of reference and for your own protection. Isaiah 30:8, Jer. 36:2, Rom.16:22

2. WRITE out the prophecy for reference. It also helps to remember it.

3. READ and MEDITATE over the prophetic word spoken to you.

4. REVIEW the prophetic word with your spiritual councillors.

5. RESPOND to your prophetic word with faith.

6. Have FAITH in GOD BELIEVE in HIS prophets. (2 Chron. 20:20)

7. FAST and PRAY as in warfare over that prophetic word.(1 Tim.1:18)

8. Do not NEGLECT the gift (prophetic word) that was given to you. (1 Tim. 4:14)

9. Be PATIENT and CONTINUE preparing yourself in readiness for the fulfilment of the prophetic word.

10. JUDGE the prophetic word and not the messenger – test the spirit: discern what spirit is behind the message.

11. DO NOTHING DIFFERENT unless the Lord has definitely directed you to do so.
