RISE UP WILD WARRIOR

1                  There is a battle going on.

č                 A battle for your soul.

č                 A battle for your marriage.

č                 A battle for your children.

č                 A battle for your legacy.

č                 A battle for your destiny.

č                 A battle for your you.

č                 The battle is in you, in your surroundings and in heavinlies.

a.                       James Kallas writes in “the real satan” A war is going on! Cosmic war! Jesus is the divine invader sent by God to shatter the strengths of satan. In that light the whole ministry of Jesus unrolls. Jesus has one purpose – to defeat satan.  He takes the strength of the enemy.”

b.                       A WILD WARRIR is aggressive in:

     i.                 Shielding

   ii.                defending

 iii.                guarding

  iv.                protecting

c.                       You are a WILD WARRIOR.

Matt. 11:12  And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of Heaven is taken by violence, and the violent take it by force.

Here we have three points:

i.                            Taken by violence.

(Mat 6:33  But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.” aggressively seek)

When we, God’s people, come into His presence with thanksgiving and praise, warfare is waged against our enemies.  (Jehoshaphat goes into battle 2 Chron. 20:2-9)

ii.                            The violent.

(1Sa 17:35, 36, 37and there came a lion and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock.

And I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb out of its mouth. And when it rose against me, I caught it by the beard, and struck it and killed it. Your servant killed both the lion and the bear. And this uncircumcised Philistine shall be like one of them, since he has defied the armies of the living God.  And David said, Jehovah who has delivered me out of the paw of the lion and out of the paw of the bear, He will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine.) (aggressively fight)

iii.                            By force.

1.                    The greatest force is the power of praise and worship.

2.                   Our Praise is irresistible to God.

3.                   When we lose our selves in Him – He will raise us up.

4.                   Psa 66:1-4  For the choir director; a song; a psalm. Shout with Joy to God, all the earth!  Make music to praise the glory of his name. Make his praise glorious. Say to God, "How awe-inspiring are your deeds! Your power is so great that your enemies will cringe in front of you. The whole earth will worship you. It will make music to praise you. It will make music to praise your name."

2                   Get into the Face of God.

Job, in the face of all adversity did not say LORD GIVES AND THE DEVIL TAKES AWAY.

NO

Job said” The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the Name of the Lord’

Despite his wrestling, his questions, his anger, his self pity, his depression, his indignation,

Job kept his face toward God.

You can’t rant and rave – you can kick – you can yell – have a temper tantrum – scream and shout

as long as you do it in the FACE of God.

It’s no good to cry out  - you must cry out to God.

When Job cried in worship to God – God blessed him double -  Job 42:2-6

3                   Rise up Wild Warrior.

Isa 40:31  but those who WAIT on Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall RISE up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

a.       You are called to wait.

Five things about waiting

d.       The world does not like to wait.

e.       Waiting is an worship.

f.       Waiting is an act of humility.

g.       Waiting is an act of faith.

h.       Waiting puts you in a place to receive.

i.         Waiting brings God’s timing.

-     Only when you wait on the Lord will you then rise on the wings of eagles.

-     Waiting is not passive

-     Waiting is aggressive passion for His presence.

b.       You are called to rise.

Micah 4:13  Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs bronze; and you shall crush many peoples. And I will give their gain to Jehovah, and their wealth to the Lord of the all the earth.

To arise in God is go deeper in worship than before.

Become a space cadet and do cosmic warfare in the Face of God – with God.

Matthew 11:12       “But from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of the heavens is taken by violence, and the violent seize on it.”

James Kallas, in The Real Satan, says:

“A war is going on!  Cosmic war!  Jesus is the divine invader sent by God to shatter the strengths of satan.  In that light the whole ministry of Jesus unrolls.  Jesus has one purpose ‑ to defeat satan.  He takes the strength of the enemy.”

George Ladd says the application of this scripture is that:

“God is the aggressor; satan is on the defensive, ... The Kingdom of Heaven exercises its force or makes its way powerfully in the world.”

Our mission is rescuing those that are taken captive as a result of Adams fall.
