MEN'S CAMP 2006

 

Here are some of the comments of the camp that men made:

·         This camp has brought change to me.

·         The uncompromised word of God has been preached at this camp.

 

·         This is my first wild warrior men's camp - but not my last.

 

·         This is a Kingdom event;

o        The worship and open ministry is the church in action.

o        This is the bride.

o        The presence if God is was here.

·         There is no denominational ping-pong here.

·         Please bring this camp to the rural area.

·         Thank you - this has touched my life.

·         This man's camp injects life.

·         Bless the Lord for this opportunity.

·         Great food.

·         Slept well  - because of the snow on the mountains it was so cold.

·         What an amazing display of God's Glory on the Friday night - the lightening was wonderful.

 Here are some of the PROPHETIC WORDS THAT CAME THROUGH:

·         We are not going to be fine tuned  - but rather we are going to be re-strung at this place.

·         Rebels come and submit to authority as unto God.

·         tell My people I am coming.

·         I see hands reaching out to heaven - wanting the bread of life.

·         Around each head, there is a band restricting the thinking of the people.  The band of control must be removed.

·         God is lifting the carpet we are walking on - to reveal the masterpiece underneath.

 Here are some of the TRUTHS that people commented on from the teaching:

·         The rule and reign of God must come into perspective and was taught in this camp.

·         The Kingdom of God is at hand;

o        It is here and it is coming.

·         We need to dwell in worship.

·         The Lord is preparing His warriors.

·         Destiny and Identity are at work in your life.

·         Where are you making an impact in your community.

·         Where have you hidden your talents.

·         Challenge those around you.

·         People may doubt what you say - but will believe what you do.

·         The Kingdom is within.

  

Here are some observations I made of what God was saying through the messages preached.

 Sam Kiston, Len Western, Richard Albrecht, Dean Botha, Jonathan Leach

  • We are in a war and in war there are causalities.
  • This war is for the seed that God gave to you.
  • The Kingdom of God is not a place or a people - It is the Govt. of God and it started with a child. 
  • The zeal of God will accomplish this and the labour of man.
  • The Kingdom of god is at hand - REPENT
  • You can not create a utopia - it is an old Gospel.
  • This is unstoppable - come re-discover Jesus.
  • Is.61 - Lk 4 This is Christ's ministry
  • Proclamation and Demonstration
  • Jesus said - if you don't want to believe the message then believe the works.
  • The same message will produce the same results.
  • Jesus came to Rescue - MISSION POSSIBLE.
  • The Kingdom is here and it is now.
  • The tension is = now and not yet.
  • I live in this tension - the more of the not yet - but now.
  • Jesus never preached a salvation Gospel.
  • Jesus preached a Kingdom Gospel.
  • Make an impact and be relevant
  • We see a church that is a hotel church or a hospital church.
  • God's creed is MULTIPLICATION.

  • What makes the Lord happy?
    • To see your talents grow.
  • Gen. 1;28 Go multiply
  • Everything is the Lords.
  • 1 Kings 4   The widows oil.
  • God will take what you have and multiply it.
  • It does not just drop out from the sky.
  • Matt. 13 parable of the sewer - produce after your kind.
  • Multiplication is God's business
  • Work is an act worship.
  • The seed bed of the Gospel is the death bed to self.
  • From South Africa there will be a mighty harvest.
  • If the passionate presence of the Kingdom of God is invested in our daily lives, then we will have Kingdom.
  • The first and foremost agenda of God is not to save a nation, but to transform an individual into the image of god.
  • Where Jesus walked there was the presence of God.
  • Arch Bishop William Temple said 'Jesus called Peter 'satin's because Peter thought like a human being and not like God.  - Matt. '..get behind me Satan..'
  • The world has not seen the church, it's under the rug, and the church has a band around its head.
  • The church is - breathe in to gather and breathe out to scatter.
  • The church is not a structure or organisation.
  • There are two types of skeletons
    • Exo skeleton - like a crabs skeleton - this cripples and binds.
    • internal skeleton - like human - this releases - gives freedom of expression and growth.
  • Religion is a substitute for relationship
  • pietism is a substitute for holiness
  • Holiness is not about codes and rules.
  • Holiness is a relationship with God.
  • We have not seen the NT church because we look with a Greek mentality.
  • We don't read the bible to find out about Jesus - we read the bible to listen to Jesus.

  • We are called to abide in Him - through Him and with Him.
